Armani Privé by Giorgio Armani
Whilst Dior's theme was semi-sheer skirts, Armani Privé's was bows.
Bow adored suits on the shoulder, the neck and waists. They also adorned dresses, and skirts.
The collection was full of signature classics's power suits, with tapered pants. The clothes as you would expect were incredibly elegant, but not as experimental as other couture shows, with the colour palette being mostly black, white, grey, beige and taupe with a touch of pink here and there.
The red carpet gowns have Cate Blanchett's name all over them, especially the haltered dress with the asymmetric tiering, that shimmers so elegantly.
One of my favourites piece, was the bowed blouse, made entirely of pearls. I would imagine someone with a lot of flair like Alicia Keys wearing that one. I would also imagine her wearing the evening dress cut to expose one breast which is hidden with a shoulder-slung cap.
