The rest of the Cavalli faces have been revealed for autumn/winter 2008-9. In addition to Isabeli Fontana, (above) Roberto Cavalli has also selected Angela Lindvall, Raquel Zimmerman, and Frankie Rayder.
Inspired by the film Il Gattopardo, starring Burt Lancaster and Claudia Cardinale, the campaign is based on the story that 'the more it changes, the more it stays the same'.
"I've always been aesthetically fascinated by this film," Cavalli told WWD. "In the campaign, the heroine - a sort of new Angelica - Cardinale in the movie - dances in the wilderness while a fire rages in the background. She represents the force of everything that is new, yet in the end she's dressed like a romantic debutante. I find this idea, the contrast of old and new, to be very modern and thought provoking."
The four models replace Kate Moss, who will now be focussing on being the face of the designer's Just Cavalli label.
