First Look: Kanye West: Pastelle

While Kanye West has long been considered a style icon, the fashion world eagerly anticipates Kanye’s own aesthetic in the upcoming launch of his own brand Pastelle. A preview recently surfaced in VMAN as a star studded cast including Rihanna and Lupe Fiasco model upcoming pieces from the Pastelle collection. KANYE WEST AND LOUIS VUITTON

Besides collaborating with Comme des Garcons for a collection of six bags designed by Rei Kawakubo in Vuitton's signature monogram pattern, Louis Vuitton will be teaming-up with rapper Kanye West for a line of men’s shoes.

West, who refers to Louis Vuitton as “Louis” and calls himself “the Louis Vuitton Don,” has previously worked with Vuitton collaborator and artist Takashi Murakami on design elements for the rapper’s most recent album, Graduation.

West has been a fixture on the fashion scene lately (pictured below with French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld), so it’s no surprise that besides his LV collaboration, the dapper rapper is working on a womenswear line for fall.
