House of Holland: Spring/Summer 2012

Henry Holland Spring collection was all about by prints; plaid, cow and python offset with pastel colour palette of lilac, apricot, mint and bubblegum pink with cool steel grey for House of Holland. With punk and ska inspirations shown through mesh vests, pleated plaid skirts, asymmetrical dresses, metallic mesh dresses, trapeze-line dresses in flowing silk chiffon and python pants with zipper accents.

Fashion's Night Out exclusive‏

English fashion designer Henry Holland (best known for his bold, 80’s inspired collections) has teamed up with ASOS.com to offer exclusive tank dresses (below left) for $40, on sale on Sept 10^th at www.asos.com.  The dress will debut in the ASOS/Teen Vogue Fashion Show on Perry St, West Village, NYC during FNO at 7PM EST.

Additionally, anyone that attends the FNO festivities on Bleecker and Perry will receive this complimentary exclusive ASOS/Teen Vogue “British Bulldog” tee!(below right)

It also just announced that Alessandra Ambrosio, Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Lilly Donaldson, Karolina Kurkova, Adriana Lima, Angela Lindvall, Sasha Pivovarova and Coco Rocha are just a few of the supermodels slated to walk the runway during Fashion’s Night Out: The Show on September 7, 2010, at Lincoln Center! More than 150 models will present hottest fall trends, determined by Vogue 

While tickets to the event were snapped up in just under four hours, fashion lovers around the world will still be able to view Fall’s hottest trends come to life on the runway via a live webcast hosted by Vogue’s Editor at Large, André Leon Talley, and Vogue.com contributor Hanneli Mustaparta on CBS.com/FNO.

House of Holland & 90210 & Levi's spring/summer 2009

House of Holland is once again teaming up with Levi's for a six-piece capsule collection, which has been inspired by Beverly Hills 90210.

Being a tribute to 90210 , does that mean we can expect a bit of stone-wash, mum-waist, rolled-up jean a la Dylan McKay style? Hmm... perhaps not.

Pieces will feature print and laser-cut jeans style, making use of floral and polka dot designs.

Just like his debut range for the denim brand, Holland will showcase his new collection at his forthcoming London Fashion Week show on September 17th. Only this time, they will go straight into Selfridges for sale the day after the show.

Talk about hot off the catwalk.

Alexa Chung: 'Frock Me'

Alexa Chung and designer Henry Holland are to front Frock Me, a fashion show for Superbox Productions and Channel 4.

The 45-minute magazine programme will focus on fashion and music and feature interviews with fashion icons and celebrities. Each week, style scout Gemma Caimey will visit a different UK city and challenge members of the public to create an outfit based on a particular theme, culminating in a studio 'Frock Off'.

Executive producer Jules Wilson said: "This is a dream first commission for Superbox and we're very excited to have the most wanted duo in fashion fronting the series."T4 head Jules Oldroyd added: "This is the first time that T4 has commissioned a fashion show and our aspiration is that each week we will celebrate the whole spectrum of fashion and inspire our audience to have more fun with what they wear."

Frock Me will air for a seven-week run on T4 begins at 11am on Sunday, 5 October.

Henry Holland 'Lives not Knives' T-shirt

Knife crime has reached an unbelievable height in Britain and with the murder of Ben Kinsella, the seventeenth teenager to die as a result of knife crime in London this year, Grazia has launched their 'Lives for Knives' campaign. As part of the campaign, the magazine has got Henry Holland, Katharine Hamnett and Sophia Kokosalaki on board to design t-shirts as well as laying a set of Five Government Demands.

On my WISHLIST is Henry Holland's design, an electric-blue t-shirt with striking design and bold lettering. One size fits all and all proceeds go to the Ben Kinsella Foundation, a charity set up for the prevention of future knife-crime. I couldn't think of a more worthy summer buy.

Alexa Chung and Henry Holland to present T4 fashion show

Rumours abound that Henry Holland and Alexa Chung are going to present a T4 fashion show and the latest is that it will be called 'Frock Me'... geddit?

Alexa Chung doesn't have any formal fashion credentials but thanks to her quirky style she's become a bit of a fashion icon for the indie crowd and topped the Guardians Summer Cool List. It'll be interesting to see her pair up with Henners, hopefully they'll hit it off and have us chuckling through our hangovers.
