Who Will Win British Designer of the Year?

Luella Bartley, Stella McCartney & Christopher Bailey
Christopher Kane, Gareth Pugh & Matthew Williamson
This week the date was confirmed for the British Fashion Council 2008 British Fashion Awards as 25th November. The awards will take place at Lawrence Hall in London's Westminster. Last year Stella McCartney took home British Designer of the Year and we're wondering who might steal her crown this season. Although the nominees are yet to be announced we've speculated over possible nominees.

Do you think that Stella will bag the award again, or will Christopher Bailey win it for a second time? Or will one of London's hot young designers snag it?

I knew there had to be a reason for why Abbey Clancy was in that awful reality show with Janice Dickinson...
The swimsuit model and girlfriend of England player Peter Crouch, will soon be starring in a new fashion television series for ITV2.

Titled The Fashion Project, Clancy will co-host along with spunky radio presenter George Lamb, on the all-out fashion programme which is said to include celebrity guests, a live band, catwalk show, and a studio audience - sounds a little like Top Gear for the fashion crowd if you ask moi!
"The viewers will be absorbed in a total fashion experience, a sneaky peek into a celeb's wardrobe, an A-list stylist makeover for an audience member or top tips for the season," said an ITV spokesperson.
"No style stone will be left unturned, as every fashion essential is put to the test."
We look forward to it with great interest but hoping with different presenters...
