The Hunger is a biannual magazine from photographer and publisher of Dazed & Confused, AnOther, and AnOther Man, Rankin. Launched on November 17th 2011, The Hunger provides creative beings with a new platform for uncompromised self-expression, innovation and discovery. Working with recognized and emerging talents in the arts, fashion and editorial, The Hunger seeks out cultural progression and distinction. Each issue of the magazine features both a male and female cover.

Dazed & Confused December 2011: 20 + 20 Covers by Rankin
The December issue of Dazed & Confused boasts 20 different cover-shots by co-founder Rankin, featuring the likes of Kate Moss, Pharrell Williams, Chloe Sevigny, Eva Green and Alicia Keys.
In celebrating it 20th anniversary with cover stars from Dazed’s past naming few include, Tilda Swinton, Jarvis Cocker, PJ Harvey, Milla Jovovich, and Bjork
Damien Hirst, Kelis, Michael Stipe, Cillian Murphy, Juliette Lewis and all covers has a gatefold pull out, which features 20 rising stars chosen by each coverstar, as a portrait of pop culture heroes of the future.
Each issue also includes a series of interviews where Dazed speaks to the names featured, including The Kills, Gael Garcia Bernal, Harmony Korine, Damon Albarn and Bobby Gillespie alongside with new young stars on DAZEDTV.com.

After 9 years of collaboration, directing duo Chris Cottam and Rankin have decided to part ways in order to pursue solo projects. Rankin continues to be available for directing projects. The duo were the brains behind many music videos, including Kelis ’Acapella', Nelly Furtado ’Say It Right’, Marina and the Diamonds ’I Am Not A Robot’, Robyn ’Cobrastyle’ and The Noisettes 'Ever Fallen in Love', The Enemy ’No Time for Tears’
