Mischa Barton: Second Handbag Collection

Actress turned designer Misha Barton has released her 2nd collection of handbags and a brand new website that will sell her bags exclusively.


Expect to see patent and pearlised leathers, metallic snakeskins and statement tapestries.


“I’m inspired by all sorts of things, but I think my real fashion icons are people like Anita Pallenberg and Marianne Faithfull,” Misha tells Vogue.


Right now the bags are available for the UK. Some of them are cute and their prices are reasonable.

Mischa Launches Handbag Line Chock-full of Buckles

Today Mischa Barton's line of handbags went on sale exclusively at Asos.com. Yes, it's true, Mischa has a handbag line, confirming yet another celebrity who is cashing in on fashion. We browsed the vintage-inspired line, which includes fourteen pieces ranging from clutches ($44/£22) to hobos ($238/£119) to totes ($325/£163.50). And it's ... interesting. "I'm inspired by all sorts of things, but I think my real fashion icons are people like Anita Pallenberg and Marianne Faithfull. It's the era I feel most comfortable with and the aesthetic that I like," Barton told Asos magazine. The only aspect that really caught our attention (and not in the best way) is the buckle she incorporated onto every bag — a symmetrical, clover-esque, tarnished-gold embellishment that aims to be like Tory Burch's mirrored T's. ELLE's star studded reception for The House of Viktor & Rolf

Mischa Barton, Alexa Chung and Kelly Osbourne were among the stars who came to ELLE's VIP champagne reception and private view at London's Barbican Art Gallery last night, for new exhibit, The House of Viktor and Rolf.

Sipping Perrier Jouet pink champagne and lychee martini's scattered with rose petals, celebrities, fashion industry insiders, friends of ELLE and Viktor & Rolf took in the breath taking new retrospective of the Dutch design duo's career so far - the highlight of which is a giant, 28 foot dolls house that has been constructed to house miniature recreations of the labels greatest designs, worn by porcelain dolls.

'It's completely taken my breath away', said an emotional Roisin Murphy, one of their biggest fans who was brought to tears when she saw the magical dolls house.

Mischa Barton, who is living in Paris at the moment came to London especially for the event, wearing Viktor & Rolf - natch, while Kelly Osbourne told us that the duo are one of her favourite labels.

At last night's event, ELLE's editor- in chief Lorraine Candy spoke of Viktor & Rolf's monumental achievement and how the duo fuse the world's of fashion and art seamlessly before it was off to the after party at Masonic Temple Room of the ANDAZ Hotel in London's East End.
