Donna Karan spring/summer 2012 inspired by her travels to Haiti showing with signature her glamourous, body-hugging ruched and draped gowns were rendered in earth tones like mud, sienna, black, and cream, alongside vibrant purple, orange and lemon. Strong prints and pattern made a strong impact on skirts, dresses and jackets.

DKNY: Spring/Summer 2012

Donna Karan fittingly showed a collection for DKNY that celebrated pure Americana, showing easy-to-layer pieces of asymmetric hems, boxy tailoring, sequin skirts, digital florals. As for DKNY’s popular accessories, soft, wide-brim hats topped each look, and ankle-cuff platform wedges with the models walked in right off the street, past a parked yellow taxi outfitted with a DKNY sign.

DKNY Womens, Jeans & Mens F/W 11.12: Aline Weber, Anne Vyalitsyna, Izabel Goulart, Corey Baptiste, Patrick Kafka and Jon Kortajarena

DKNY’s autumn/winter 2011/12 collection was inspired by the “modernists in New York City”, and was all about graphic lines, daring colours and mixing textures. Shot in New York as we would not expect anything other city the girls are dress to impressed as their walk through the city.

DKNY Menswear collection is all streamlined and "Modern military" was the theme, expressed by polos, sweaters and outerwear, leaning towards nylon parkas and on a range of blues for accent, thou the entire menswear is not like womenswear add as its shot in black and white.

DKNY Jeans like menswer is shot in black and white with addition of a classic motor cycle and the ad has a James Dean feel and inspiration with denim on denim looks, boots, skinny jeans and leather biker jackets thrown into the mix, it all about easy chic styling.
