Thecorner.Com Award x ASVOFF
A Shaded View On Fashion Film (ASVOFF) is the ultimate celebration of style and aesthetics through the medium of the moving image, created by world-renowned fashion critic Diane Pernet. Since their creation in 2008, ASVOFF and thecorner.com have been engaging in a similar pursuit by challenging conventional parameters and encouraging emerging and established artists to reconsider the way we look at fashion.
The winner of the ASVOFF award to Scalpel/Stradivarius, presented by Vogue Italia, is the coming-together of sounds, with a violin piece by Arcade Fire's Sarah Neufeld, and visuals, with a performance by model Meghan Collison. As the two subjects are reduced to their simplest elements, the body itself is transformed into an abstraction under the lens of filmmaker Jason Last and Creative Director Jaime Rubiano, two long-time collaborators and contributors to the art of fashion film.

365 Layers of “Natural Look” Makeup
Natural Beauty, a surreal short film by Dutch artistic duo Lernert & Sander. The pair embrace the urge for cosmetic overkill by applying 365 layers of makeup over the course of one day to Belgian supermodel Hannelore Knuts.
Prep work: We tested a 100-layer session a few days before on our intern, who is a man. We wanted to make sure that this amount of makeup wouldn't kill a person. It didn't kill our intern so we trusted everything would be fine on Hannelore.

Rating:**1/2
Day one Collection : 7.65 Cr
1st week collection :25.50 Cr
Indra Kumar’s latest excursion ‘Double Dhamaal,’ a sequel to the maiden film ‘Dhamaal (2007),’ doesn’t churn out to be a better endeavor than the four year old prequel.
The pleasures of 'Double Dhamaal’ bubble up when the gangster Satish Kaushik’s character offers comic strips in his delectably funny way.
‘Double Dhamaal’ is funny, stupid and delivers all the laughs but the film oversteps when the story doesn’t try to flow and blend along with the comedy.
StorylineFour friends Adi (Arshad Warsi), Roy (Ritesh Deshmukh), Manav (Javed Jaffrey), and Adi (Arshad Warsi) are waiting to make easy money and get to see the cop turned conman living the life of luxury like a business man.
Kabir is enjoying his life and has loads of money and the company of two women, his arm candy (Sherawat) and his sister Kiya (Ranaut).
The four get irritated looking at his wealthy lifestyle. They hatch up a plan to deceive him by getting into his business. Kabir sells the government land to Batabhai (Kaushik) a gangster, who wants a change in his career. Kabir puts these four in charge of the business deal with the gangster.
After the four help him by getting 250 crores, Kabir escapes with the money and settles in Macau. After finding out that Kabir is living there and owns a casino, the four decide to take revenge by disguising themselves.
