Leona Lewis is making all the right steps to become a pop diva just like Mariah Carey, as she is about to launch her own fashion range. Who would have thought that just a couple of years ago the singer from London would be where she is today.Leona Lewis went straight to number one in the UK with her debut single and album. She then became the first female artist since the 80’s to have a number one single in the U.S. But one thing was still missing and that is a clothes range, until now.
You can’t be a number one pop star without having a clothing line, which is why the X Factor winner is in talks with Sir Philip Green, the boss behind Topshop to launch her own collection.
Both Lewis and Green will meet soon to finalize the small details, in what is thought to be a big money deal for the singer.
Back in 2006 when Leona won the talent contest you could clearly see that she did not have much dress sense. How times have changed since she has spent a lot of time over in the states, she has clearly been able to make that transition into a classy looking lady.

Here's an interesting quote from the issue: "I don't wear little miniskirts and low-cut tops. If you want to show your bits off, it's up to you. When I was 18, I had a few glasses of Alcopop — they're bubblegummy drinks with a bit of alcohol — and it was gross. I've tasted champagne, which is gross. And I tasted wine, which I don't like."
