Frida Giannini’s Gucci Resort 2009 collection was a 70’s inspired, and typically elegant with a colour palette of white, caramel, burnt orange, chocolate browns and blues.
The collection had two themes. A hippie/gypsy-esque theme and a nautical theme, and these were feminine and masculine respectively.
The hippie part of the collection had gypsy prints and long flowing maxi dresses. Whereas the nautical part of the collection had striped pants, boyish flared pants, which were held up by thick rope belt.
