Liam Fahy London: Spring/Summer 2012 Collection
London based shoe designer Liam Fahy debutshis luxury SS12 heel collection ‘The Elegant Collectables’in London and Paris.
Colonial African school uniforms, dark liquorice coils, Pan Am girlsand 1950’s metallic typography are just some of the inspirationsbehind the collection that features sharp wedges,subtle platforms and an array of soft textures.
Metallic watersnake, nabuk python, laser cut calf and burgundypatent materials give the collection a darker ethosin reaction to what Liam sees as the real coloursof a British summer and the emergence of the seasonless shoe.
“The increasing pace of commercial fashion is restrictinggenuine creativity amongst so many designers, as a result theboundaries of seasons have become blurred, so why not create acollection embracing a schizophrenic season. It’s about havingthe confidence not to change so fast.”
Each one of the limited edition shoes are painstakingly inscribed with asignature nickel detailing on each sole, taking as much time tofinish as the entire upper of a normal shoe andmaking each product an testament to their Italian craftsmanship.
Next season will see Liam expand into stores worldwideand is set to unveil a range of aviation inspired clutch bags.

Bally promotes its heritage, Switzerland under the creative direction of Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and Stephen Wolstenholme with models Julia Stegner and Miranda Kerr along for the ride of Spring Summer 2012 ad campaign. Joined by male models Cedric Bihr and Robert Konjic being pictured with goats and dogs, gazing through binoculars at snow-capped mountains, by Norman Jean Roy wearing smart tailoring and sophisticated looks, with laser cut-out detailed dresses and leather jackets.

Stylist.co.uk exclusive have first glimpse of the collection, that ticks off all the key trends that emerged from the s/s 2012 catwalks, candy pastels, eclectic prints along with sports-luxury.
Sir Paul Smith, the fasion designer, is to be awarded British fashion's highest honour at the British Fashion Awards later this month.
"The Versace fashion house will be listed in the January 2012 schedule of Haute Couture collections," the French couture federation, which organises the three days of shows from January 23 to 26, said in a statement.

W magazine premiered a new documentary by Loic Prigent and Fabien Constant called “The Client,” featuring Carine Roitfeld. The 13-minute documentary follows the inimitable Roitfeld as she attends the couture shows as a “client” and then picks out dresses and gets fitted for a Paolo Roversi shoot which appeared in W‘s October issue.

Alternative Apparel: Spring/Summer 2012
Leading Apparel Brand to Unveil an “Oasis of Color” at L.A. Fashion Week. This season’s highlights include asymmetrical maxi-dresses and high-waisted mini-skirts in colorful prints, as well as a selection of must-have novelty pieces for women, including sheer, mesh tanks, cut-out sweatshirts and beaded Baja Cloth ponchos. The men’s line also offers breezy Baja Wovens in hoodies, shorts and button-downs, plus more of the brand’s vintage varsity-style A Game collection. Rounding out the spring 2012 collection, Alternative Apparel showed off nautical-inspired bags and accessories, including canvas and leather satchels, totes and carryalls in a variety of colorful solids, stripes and prints.

'Morse Code Singals' Covherlab Spring/Summer 2012 Collection
Covherlab present it's spring/summer 2012 collection by Marco D'Amico with exquisite lookbook shot by Marco D'Amico. Titled "Morse Code Signals", the collection is romantic and feminine using subtle shaping with cocoon shapes, curved lines, paneling, cut-outs, back detailing and colour-blocking. Colour palette of soft and light of whites, pinks, yellows and natural with hints of blue and grey, that reflect the fragile and flowing dresses were embellished with intricate detailing.
