Photographer - Andrea Klarin (Grace Jones)
.jpg)
It would take a bold and confident photographer to work with Ms Grace Jones – she of the panther like qualities and iconic outlandish style! Andrea Klarin seems to have created not only a working relationship with Ms Jones but also a truly collaborative experience with startling results. Ms Jones prowls across the studio space commanding your attention with her dramatic poses and facial expressions.

With a series of masks and headwear upon which to reveal herself or hide (who really knows with Ms Jones) the look is couture dominatrix! Yugoslavian born Karin (now based in Paris) brings a highly stylised and extravagant approach to this shoot showcasing his ability to think big and think imaginatively allowing the muse to create the interest and not be distracted by a setting or location.“I don't try to represent the reality but I try to filter it and through the imaginary world with some elegance and glitter!”

Klarin’s pedigree is finely tuned and credits his abilities to working with highly talented teams. He has worked with couture houses, commercial brands, high end glossy magazines alike with clients like Valentino, Lanvin, Rochas, L’Oreal, Vogue, Harpers, Instyle and Nike to name a few

Rankin designs bottles for Coca-Cola
Celebrity portrait photographer Rankin (click to go to website, above) has joined forces with Coca-Cola to release a limited edition glass bottle celebrating the handover of the Olympic Flag from Beijing to London next Sunday. The bottle, which will be available exclusively at Selfridges for £1.99, fuses Rankin's distinctive style with a design that captures the spirit of London and the Olympics.

"As a Londoner, I love what the city represents - the vibrancy, the strength and the energy - so to reflect that with an image, which also represents the Olympics, was a fantastically exciting challenge for me as a photographer," says Rankin. "It was made even more compelling for me to do it in collaboration with Coca-Cola, and using the iconic contours and shape of the glass bottle."
"The simplicity of the image speaks a thousand words: these two strong hands encapsulate the positive spirit of Londoners, and the passing of the white rose, symbolising the handing of the Olympic baton to London, also represents harmony, hope and aspirations."
Rankin joins the ranks of other big names that have had their creative visions applied to the iconic Coca-Cola glass bottle, including Andy Warhol, Manolo Blahnik and Matthew Williamson.
Recently Roberto Cavalli designed bottles for Coca Cola light.

Justin Cooper
The master of lighting, Australian-born Justin Cooper produces fashion photography “as a representation of desire”. His ability to transform women’s faces into modern workings of art is punctuated with irreverent post producttion. Referencing iconic imagery from eras gone by, Cooper always surprises with his slick, highly stylized photos, often working in black and white.

Kelly Ripa

I can’t believe that we’re ending the week with a Kelly Ripa photoshoot, but I really couldn’t resist posting these shots and I’ll be damned if she doesn’t look shwingtastic, especially in the top picture. So enjoy these pictures of a thirty-seven year old mother of three who has a body that could give any 20-something starlet a run for their money.
