Tom Dixon is helping to compile a new bimonthly fashion digest magazine, Distill, which hits the newsstands today.
Dixon sits on the editorial board of the publication, along with fashion designer Giles Deacon, Design Museum director Dejan Sudjic, fashion designer Matthew Williamson and Net-a-Porter founder Natalie Massenet.
The magazine, published by Craft, reprints fashion spreads from up to 250 global style publications. It is designed by art director Peter Citroni, previously art director of Australian magazine Architectural Digest.
Former art director of US Vogue Sheila Jack is group design director at Craft Publishing, set up last year by former Wallpaper publisher Christopher Lockwood and editorial director Matthew Line.

Distill’s target readership is creative professionals.
‘This is not a fashion magazine about hemlines, it is about the way fashion is presented globally,’ says Distill creative and publishing director Lockwood.
‘The number of designers and creatives is growing,’ he adds. ‘Fashion is an important visual stimulus and inspiration to the creative sector as a whole, which is why we have recruited designers from a range of disciplines to sit on the editorial board.’
The first, 208-page issue showcases the work of about 25 global fashion and style magazines, and is presented in five sections – womenswear, menswear, streetwear, accessories and visual arts.
