If you think the teaming of Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher sounds like something out of a reality show, you're not far off. The pair are joining forces to create an unscripted series for ABC.
The as-yet-untitled project will feature contestants competing in a beauty pageant. Naturally there's a twist, but the network has requested that the concept remain under wraps because the show hasn't started production.

ABC has ordered eight episodes from the duo's respective production companies.
Kutcher is behind MTV's "Punk'd" and the CW's "Beauty and the Geek," while Banks executive produces the CW's top-rated "America's Next Top Model" as well as an upcoming CW project in which contestants compete to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine.
Also, the Style Network said Tuesday that it has acquired the rights to Kutcher's hidden-camera comedy series "The Real Wedding Crashers." The show had a short-lived run last year on NBC.
